The drum emptying system VISCOFLUX mobile

The drum emptying system VISCOFLUX mobile – the self-sufficient solution for the transportation of highly viscous media, paste-like media and also non-free flowing materials. The new, optional control unit now permits integration into a diverse range of filling processes.

For example, an end position cut-off can be integrated into the VISCOFLUX mobile process device. On reaching a pre-defined media level in the drum, the pumping process is then stopped automatically. External signals from a balance or a fill level measurement sensor can also be processed for use in batch processing. In this way the pump drive can be switched off and at the same time a solenoid valve can be closed, for example when reaching a certain filling weight. The control unit with integrated FLUXTRONIC® provides even more possibilities for batch processing. Here the FLUXTRONIC® processes the incoming impulse signals from a flow meter or a speed sensor on the pump, and thus controls the switch-off of the pump drive and solenoid valve on reaching the required filling quantity. The filling of this preset quantity can also be triggered via an external start/stop switch.

An application of the drum emptying system VISCOFLUX lite

The video shows an application of the drum emptying system VISCOFLUX lite. Here high temperature lubrication grease NLGI class 2 (DIN 51818) a highly viscous media which is just capable of flowing is transferred out of a ISO drum with lids.
